Kate's Story

Dear Ones All,

     I am an Elder, a Pagan, and a Dreamer. In 2004, on a long stretch of highway in California, in the back seat of a truck, I was "given" an Ocean Healing Ceremony in a vision, and the message that it was to be performed that summer. I published this Ceremony and gave it to the Spiritual Community at large with the hope that the simultaneous Ceremonies to Heal the Ocean continue, up and down the Pacific Coast, in July. 

     We know the Water Cycle is ill, and is very tired. The oceans are giving up. They have developed a fever, and are coughing up their dead on our shores. Earthquakes and tsunamis are part of the delirium of the very ill. Sailfish have been spotted off Puget Sound, and Manatees inhabit the rivers in New York. The Poles are losing their ice at an alarming rate.

     This Ocean Healing Ceremony is one antidote to the illness. Let us continue, for there are signs of hope abroad in the land: California is declaring a 200 square mile area off-limits to fishing, to preserve the breeding and feeding grounds for many species there.

     This year, 2007, will be our third year of Ocean Healing. Come join us! Let the healing be strong, be of pure heart and intent.

     Wherever you are, you or your group can join us at water's edge near you, and perform this Ceremony on Sunday, July 22^nd, at 10 am. We can continue the Healing. This Ceremony is freely given, and, due to the blessed creativity of the spiritual population, changes in the details are expected. I do ask that you ask for no healing for yourselves at this time.
